Ohh Vienna.... Again!

So once more we find our selves visiting with Deb's Cousin (Jodi) and her two boys in Vienna. On our last European trip we took an airplane flight from Munich to Vienna in late Oct-2011 to visit, but this time was different as we could arrive on our motorbike like true Overland Travelers.

We had planned to arrive to meet Jodi at her house at 19:00. We arrived at 18:45 and rung the bell and she excitedly let us in. After we unpacked the bike and covered it for it's few days stay on the street. We went up and re-introduced ourselves to her 2 young boys (David and Dylan).

Our plan was simply, we wanted to visit the Natural History Museum we missed last time, I wanted to change the engine oil, and we waned to meet Jodi's new 'man' in her life. Also I wanted to buy another pair of trousers, as only one pair makes washing some what interesting with me in my 'Boxers'!!

Warning, We have hi-speed internet so I uploaded lots'a photos...

So whilst here I 'helped' out with fixing a few things. Which mostly worked out well. Jodie's internet router was not working, as the power supply was dead from an electrical storm.

So I fixed this with another multi unit we bought. this was easy to fix. Next was the laundry washing machine, it was. But in the process I managed to de-pressurize the hot water service. This caused me to scratch my head a bit trying to figure out which valve was used to get water back in! In the end Jodie called in her Boyfriends Dad, who also scratched his head. But with the user manual (via the internet) we worked it out and were able to have hot showers once more.

Then we will return and strip clean the bike with a plan to get it imported at some stage.
